Pedal for Metal – Hit the distortion T-Shirt
A new design for a new challenge.
This one’s all about sound. My own Doctor Marten boot features here.
It’s caught at the moment ‘just before’ all hell breaks loose…

OK I relented and finally whipped up an Obama T.
This actually features me (virtually – as I wouldn’t ‘actually’ fit) in the hot seat.
The image is obviously light-hearted, and I guess time will tell whether the message gets through…
If you’re a RedBubbler (you use redbubble.com) and you have works for sale then you might be interested in the following GreaseMonkey UserScripts I’ve created to make using the site (as a contributor) easier: All are available on UserScripts.org and can be browsed at my profile.
I’ve written Redbubble Journal entries about each script, which also links to my site for the scripts themselves but I’ve added a brief desription of each below:
This allows you to grab a snapshot of your current stats (as seen in the T-Shirts, Art, Journal, Calendars and Writing pages) direct from your My Bubble page, via a single click of a ‘Retrieve CSV stats’ link. The stats are output at the bottom of the screen in an Excel-friendly format.
Install the Script: from UserScripts.org, from my site | read the journal entry
This is the little brother of the script above, and works directly on the T-Shirts, Art, Journal, Calendards and Writing pages to show current stats for the items you’re looking at (some people may still prefer this version).

Redbubble Link converter: To create links and image tags from any page
This allows you to retrieve Rebubble-friendly link markup for any link or image by simply holding down Ctrl+Shift while you click. You can then just copy and paste the text straight into a Redbubble description, comment or forum.

I’m a creative geek living in Melbourne, Australia who writes software by day, and creates T-shirts and other designs by night. This is all of course when time and motivation allows.
It’s probably accurate to say I dabble in things other than software to keep my creative side happy. I was always a keen musician (guitar, drums and keyboards) but am now happy to dream of the ‘greatness’ I never achieved. I may surprise myself yet… I might also get round to finishing my list of gig attendances one day.
I like to take pictures of things that interest me, and am becoming and increasingly keen photographer.
I occasionally write technical articles, produce the odd bit of freeware, and record technical thoughts on my Codebureau blog. Anything left may end up on this blog – but that’s rapidly turning into my world of T-Shirts!
If you’re interested in hiring me for contract development work in the Melbourne, Australia area then take a look at my skills timeline to see if I might be able to fit your needs, then contact me right here.
